Motorists who use Highway 19, particularly above St. Martin Boulevard and adjacent to the Quebec-Gatineau Railway, will face partial closures along the boulevard while the Ministry of Transport begins work on the overpasses.

Protective walls and the concrete protective embankments will be demolished and replaced over the course of the work that is scheduled by the MTQ to begin in early May and be completed by August, weather depending.

Some of the renovations will occur at night between Dagenais and Concorde on Highway 19, causing partial closures and potential detours during the construction.

For St. Martin, partial closures are expected but the bicycle path, sidewalks and at least one lane will be open at all times for commuters.

Once the new structures and protective walls are in place, the highway and St. Martin will be repaved in one direction at a time.
