There are three deadlines during the week of Feb. 16, for citizens who are interested in LaSalle development.
Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m., a consultation will take place at 55 Dupras, LaSalle, about a renewal of the site located at 8591-8597 Centrale, where Monsieur Depanneur is located.
Citizens who want to request referendums about two other projects now proposed must do so by this Friday, Feb. 20 at noon.
The borough plans to approve several six- and eight-storey buildings on Allard and a new street between Newman and Irwin in a zone at the border of the Southwest Borough. Citizens who live east of Angrignon or north of de Trinitaires can consult the plans at LaSalle borough and ask for a referendum if they so choose. There’s a public notice for that project too.
LaSalle also plans to approve a project in the old Caisse populaire building at 99 Lafleur that includes only eight parking spots instead of the 17 spots required by local bylaws. Anyone living nearby on Stinson, Hayward, Central, Brosseau, Monette, Tresor Cache or Orchard can request a referendum. There are two zones in the area. To ask for a referendum, 12 people living in each of the two zones must sign an application form. The public notice appears online.
