Costco to open in Vaudreuil-Dorion end of summer

The long awaited opening of Costco in Vaudreuil has been officially slated by the Harden Group for the end of summer 2015. The 220,000 square foot shopping area will be located at the highway 40 and highway 30 junction in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

“As of April, customers can expect to enjoy SAQ, Subway, Rockaberry and Hashem,” according to Harden’s communication officer Marie-Eve Soucy.

Construction has commenced with a new 15,100 square foot SAQ Depot slated to open in April.

The construction of Costco and other tenants will commence in Spring 2015 for late summer openings. According to Statistics Canada the population of Vaudreuil-Dorion has increased by 29.1 percent since 2006.
With 459 people per sq. km. Vaudreuil-Dorion also boasts the highest birth rate in Quebec.
