LaSalle and Verdun will both pass important budget items during extraordinary meetings held prior to their regular council meetings this evening. Public notice about both meetings occurred in mid-August.
The borough of LaSalle will adopt its three-year capital expenditure program at 7 p.m. tonight. Its regular borough meeting will then follow at 7:30 p.m.. Both meetings take place in Borough Hall, 55 Dupras, LaSalle.
The borough of Verdun will also adopt its three-year capital expenditure program at 6 p.m. tonight. The regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m. Both meetings will be held in an outdoor tent at J.A. Monsignor Richard Park at the intersection of Desmarchais and LaSalle.
