Quebec’s police watchdog, the Bureau des Enquêtes Indépendantes, is asking people who witnessed the shooting of a police officer in Côte-des-Neiges and a citizen last month, to talk to its investigators. To that end, it has set up a command post near de Courtrai and Décarie Boulevard.
