Scientists have identified three health measures in middle age that can ward off dementia for more than a decade:
- Normal blood pressure
- Type 2 diabetes (stop eating so much and exercise more; and
- Don’t smoke
One can add an average 13 dementia-free years.
The findings were published yesterday in the medical journal Neurology Open Access.
