Anyone living in Souvenir-Labelle, Fabreville and St. Vincent de Paul will want to pay attention to official notices announcing consultations during the holiday season.
Laval councillors announced proposed changes to four zones during their meeting on November 3. The actual motions announcing proposed changes will take place at a future council meeting.
The first change concerns land bordering Pie IX between Saint Louis and Honoré Mercier streets.
The third concerns land north of Trembles and west of Pelicans.
The fourth concerns the lengthening of Le Carrefour between Jean Béraud, Chomedey, Saint Martin West and Albert Murphy.
At the same November 3 meeting, councillors created a new deputy director position in their major projects division and appointed Marie-Claude Le Sauteur to the post.
They added special taxes to pay for the purchase of expropriated land for road improvement and rain water collection in Val des Arbres and sewage repair in Auteuil.
Council also approved the cycling path project between Oka and Mount Saint Hilaire.
