Are you brave enough to seek and find the candy lost in the forest at Bois de l’Équerre or would you prefer to learn how to carve a pumpkin at Centre de la nature. This month is loaded with Halloween activities for the young and young at heart.
Follow a guided tour of the haunted forest at Bois de l’Équerre. On Saturday, Oct. 18, visit the haunted forest at Laval’s Bois de l’Équerre. There will be guided tours leaving every 10-15 minutes, starting at 5 p.m. and finishing at 6:30 p.m.
The tours are free. Cancelations will be announced on the website at: www.boisdelequerre.org
Haunted house
Every weekend from the 11 to the 26 of October, the Centre de la Nature will be hosting a haunted house at the North Chalet, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the cost is $2.
Get creative at their pumpkin decorating workshop on Oct. 25 and 26. There will be three sessions given each day at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. at the Village des arts. The cost is $3 and registration is required.
Also the centre’s Village des Arts guests are invited to trample the woods on Saturday, Oct. 25, 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pumpkin Rally. Witches, ghosts, goblins and monsters are all invited to the pumpkin rally. A flash light is recommended and the event is free of charge. Village des Arts du Centre de la nature is located at 901 Parc.
