Vimont riding’s representative in Quebec City rose to speak in the provincial parliament, March 27.
Jean Rousselle lauded a recent international victory by the local soccer team.
“Madame Speaker, on March 3, the Monteuil Bulldogs—a soccer team in my riding of Vimont—won the gold medal in a shootout, during a memorable tournament in the state of New Hampshire, in the United States.”
“I would very much like to congratulate this team of young champions on their victory,” he told fellow legislators, “and underscore the fact that they were voted team of the year.”
“The 2013 season promises to be as successful as 2012 was, during which the team’s coach, Harry Atamian, earned distinction as an outstanding coach,” Rousselle continued.
“Only formed as recently as Oct. 2012,” he added, “the Monteuil Bulldogs already have many wins to their credit.” “We wish them continued momentum,” Rousselle concluded.
