For all those families who enjoy the outdoor pools, Laval’s executive committee announced on Aug. 13, that they would be extending the length of the summer pool season.
Wading pools and outdoor pools will now be open in addition to the regular season from August 18-24.
The following pools will be open daily until Aug. 24, from 12-8 p.m.:
- Berthiaume-du Tremblay
- Du Moulin
- Roi du Nord
- St. Claude
- Chénier
- Paradis
- Raymond.
Wading pools at the same locations will be open from 12-6 p.m.
The extended summer pool schedule was decided on by the executive committee on Aug. 13.
“In an effort to allow our youth to enjoy the pool season while most are still on vacation we have extended the length of pool openings. This is consistent with our continued effort to encourage our citizens to engage in physical activity,” city executive committee vice-chairman David de Cotis said in a city news release.
