Laval book lovers are invited to join and
participate in a new organization that was
formed to support Laval’s nine libraries, a
number of which have English as well as
French book collections.
Friends of Laval Library will conduct an
inaugural meeting in Chomedey next week
at the Multicultural Library, 1535 Chomedey
boulevard. The gathering will commence at
6:30 p.m., Nov. 8.
“The objective of the meeting is to inform
citizens of the nature, role, privileges and
activities of this group,” organizer Francis
Labelle of Laure-Conan library said in a statement. “We’re looking for passionate people
who want to get involved on the board of
directors.”
“If you’re dynamic and would like to participate in the growth of Laval Library, come
join us in this new community, cultural and
educational association,” he encouraged.
Prospective members are invited to call
[450] 978-5995 for more details.
