Certain municipal services in Côte des Neiges–Notre Dame de Grâce will be closed during the entire holiday periods, while others will have reduced operating hours.
Accès Montréal offices and the borough’s Permits and Inspections division will be closed from Dec. 24-Jan. 4 inclusively.
The Benny and Intercultural libraries will only open on Dec. 22, 28, 29 and 30, while the Côte des Neiges (CDN) and Notre Dame de Grâce (NDG) libraries will open Dec. 21, 27 and 28.
The CDN Maison de la culture will close from Dec. 20-Jan. 5, while the NDG Maison will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 6.
The Côte des Neiges Ecocentre is closed from Dec. 24-Jan. 5 and borough Écoquartiers will close Dec. 20-Jan. 5.
The NDG pool at 3760 Décarie is closed but Benny Pool at 6445 Monkland will open Dec. 27-30 and the CDN pool at 4880 Van Horne will operate Dec. 22-23, and Dec. 27-30.
Bill-Durnan and Doug-Harvey Arenas are closed from Dec. 24-Jan. 2, 2015 but the BLEU BLANC BOUGE rink will open Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 27-30.
Household waste and heavy object collection is cancelled on Thursday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 1. Separate collections scheduled for Thursday Christmas and New Year’s Day have been postponed respectively until Saturday, Dec. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 3.
On Wednesday, Jan. 7 and Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, residents can place their natural Christmas trees on the curb or collection and to be recycled and transformed into wood chips. All decorations must be removed. In the event of a snowstorm or snow removal operations, collection will be postponed until the following Wednesday.
Also note that natural Christmas trees may be brought at any time to the Côte des Neiges Ecocentre, which has a container for green waste recovery.
