The 18th annual fishing festival, where children and adults alike can fish for free at the Centre de la nature, starts on May 17.
For three days the lake will be stocked with thousands of trout to introduce families to the sport of fishing. The body of water will be entirely reserved for those 17-years-old and under on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.. Inflatable games will also be available for the younger children.
Environment services will be on hand on Saturday, May 17, with tips, tricks and demonstrations to encourage eco-responsible behavior. In addition, an evisceration clinic will be held, thanks to the support of the Knights of Columbus of St. Dorothy.
