Members’ work on display at Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre until Oct. 27

With over 120 members ranging in age from 16-90, members of the Dorval Artists’ Association will be showcasing their work at the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre until Oct. 27, during their Expo Art Show.
Not only will be paintings be up for sale, but 10 to 15 percent of the exposition’s proceeds will go towards West Island Community Shares yearly campaign. The artists’ work will also be judged by a learned panel with prizes up for grabs in a variety of categories.
The expo’s vernissage is taking place tomorrow at 7 p.m. with cocktails provided as well as many of the artists being on hand for the gala opening.
The Dorval Artists’ Association also showcases a member’s work every month in the Dorval library.
October’s featured artist is Lillian Hart who has 12 canvases on display.
