Loyola High School has decided to not comply with Quebec’s Bill 9 language law and will give up provincial subsidies, rather than change its Jesuit Catholic mission. That will result in cost increases for parents to send their offspring to be educated there: now $7,500 per student annually; by 2029 $20,000+.

A class-action lawsuit has been filed in Quebec Superior Court against Air Canada Vacations, Air Transat Vacations, Sunwing Vacations, WestJet Vacations, Voyages Bergeron and Voyages à Rabais alleging a failure to honour advertised prices.
