A recent U.S. survey has showed that 87% of people who made New Year’s resolutions, kept one of them for about a week—maybe two.
13% had kept none.
Researchers say that the pressure to live up to those resolutions can be heavy and suggest that, to make it easier, use a birthday, or the like, to get better.
Psychologists say that fresh starts can make us more motivated to change our behaviour and more likely to pursue our goals.
But be kind to yourself and realistic by taking small steps.
