In an effort to ensure that Pierrefonds-Roxboro voters are as “informed as possible about the different issues at stake,” Pierrefonds-Roxboro mayoral hopeful Christian Dubois, a member of Marcel Coté’s Coalition Montreal party, is calling on his opponents to take part
in a town hall-style debate prior to the Nov. 3 election.
Dubois proposes an impartial moderator, West Island Chamber of Commerce president Éric Leouson, who would field the questions of varying local issues to the candidates with citizens having the opportunity to ask the candidates their own queries.
“It is an excellent opportunity to not only present our different priorities but to also hear what residents are concerned about for the coming years,” Dubois noted.
