Two men have been charged in connection with the theft of a number of payment terminals from restaurants, hotels, car dealerships and a musical instrument store in Montreal, Côte-des-Neiges NDG, Lachine, St-Laurent, St-Léonard, Ville-Marie, Town of Mount Royal and Pointe-Claire.

Three men facing terrorism-related charges in an anti-government plot to forcibly take control of land in the Quebec City area, have been denied bail.

Three men looking at people-smuggling charges involving 44 foreign nationals found in a truck in southern Quebec last week-end, have been denied bail in a Sherbrooke courtroom.

Toronto police have arrested a Montreal man, 20-year-old Brad Lucate Nicholas and are hunting for 23-year-old Bryan Emmanuel Fuentes Gramajo of Longueuil and 28-year-old Jimmy Prudent of Montreal in connection to the murder of a Toronto man last month.

Mission 1000 Tonnes and Stratégies Saint-Laurent have launched their annual effort to clean up shores of the St-Lawrence River, at the Soulanges Canal Park in Pointe-des-Cascades and the banks of the Lachine Canal.
