A Quebec Superior Court judge has okayed a class-action lawsuit against McGill University, the Royal Victoria Hospital and the federal government over psychiatric experiments on behalf of the CIA, that affected hundreds of patients, leaving them with permanent psychological damage. It will allow survivors and their families to seek compensation for alleged “unlawful human experimentation” at Montreal’s Allan Memorial Institute between 1948 and 1964.

Microsoft is moving to passkeys.

No more creating a password, a mix of letters, symbols and numbers.

From now on PINs, fingerprint scans, facial recognition or a pattern on your device’s lock screen will be needed to log in.

Experts say that passkeys are safer than passwords.
