Gaétan Turbide and Jean Roberge step down from their positions

The former CEO of the city of Laval, Gaétan Turbide and deputy director, Jean Roberge, have resigned from their positions which became official as of Aug. 9.

They made their decisions known to the Quebec Municipal Commission, responsible for the supervision of the city.

Sylvia Morin, the spokeswoman for the Laval Municipal Commission was unavailable for comment.

The resignations do not include any conditions, compensation, allowance or benefit.

However, the two will be entitled to any conditions associated with voluntary departure of an employee.
