Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP) will be holding its open house on Thursday, June 19 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. <\/p>\n

This is the first such event since the organization moved to Laval from Dorval in April 2012. <\/p>\n

The plant is capable of recycling 15 million pounds of electronic assets per year in the new 7,154 square-metre (77,000 square foot) facility at 2995 Le Corbusier.<\/p>\n

It also has transportation, warehousing and refurbishing services in addition to a retail outlet that sells refurbished computers and electronics onsite and on-line. <\/p>\n

The organization will be offering tours of the centre all day. <\/p>\n

They\u2019re also planning to partner with the Gagnon Group to shred confidential documents and wipe computer hard drives clean of sensitive material from 8 a.m. until noon. Anyone who takes advantage of the service will be eligible for a draw of $50 coupons that can be used in the Microsys retail outlet. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
