Mayor Michel Gibson personally welcomed everyone to the town council last week. <\/p>\n

Gibson confirmed his meeting with Transport Minister, Robert Po\u00ebti in regards to the Train de l\u2019ouest <\/i>project. It was learned that $80 million would be invested in the next 18-24 months which will allow two-three additional trains each way on a daily basis. <\/p>\n

A request to the City of Montreal and the Transport Quebec to construct of a viaduct simultaneously, or prior to the extension works for the Jacques Bizard corridor. <\/p>\n

Gibson also confirmed that there was nothing specific to report on the Agglo issue, as everything is approved. <\/p>\n

The planning advisory committee reported the approval and architectural integration plans to nine different lots. <\/p>\n

The meeting was adjourned shortly after 9 p.m., with the next meeting slated for Aug. 4, at 8 p.m.
