Operation Co\u00fbt de Crayon<\/i> aims, for the 16th year in a row, to provide over 700 primary and secondary students with supplies for back to school this fall.<\/p>\n

The ultimate goal is to give children a sense of equality and allow them to start the school year off on the right foot. <\/p>\n

Since the program\u2019s inception, Moisson has handed out nearly 7,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to youths in the Laval area. <\/p>\n

The average cost according to Moisson is about $100 per student in supplies each year, not including, clothes or tuition.<\/p>\n

Donor involvement is at the heart of this project that, last year, enabled 840 children from underprivileged neighborhoods to start the school year off right.<\/p>\n
