United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer says that the United States is not renewing the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement on trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greer says that the agreement will remain in place, as negotiations continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An annual review will take place during the coming decade or until a new deal is signed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If no extension is agreed to, the trade agreement will expire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada and Mexico were pushing for a 16-year extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
