As Coalition pour l’avenir du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> ministers abandon the party ahead of the next election, Premier Legault says that the party which he’s leaving is more necessary than ever, slamming the Parti Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois<\/em> and its referendum idea as representative of economic instability and the Liberals who can’t be trusted to stop the decline of French in Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quebec Liberal leadership candidate Charles Millard now has the support of all members of the Liberal caucus, in his drive to lead the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business, via L\u00e9ger marketing, has learned that 59% of Quebecers do not trust the Legault government to manage the economy well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Months of discussions have resulted in Quebec receiving a billion federal dollars that will go to municipalities to develop and modernize infrastructure for new housing projects such as drinking water, wastewater and storm water systems which will total $6 billion in the coming decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinatown residents and merchants are crying NIMBY: They do not want a social housing project for homeless people in their area, arguing that the neighbourhood is already a \u201cdumping ground\u201d and at risk of becoming \u201chomelesstown.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Montreal police Chief Fady Dagher is in favour of having his officers wear body cameras, but says that they can\u2019t can’t come into play until the province decides if they will be deployed, flying in the face of the powers-that-be at city hall, who are pushing for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forbes Magazine says that Universit\u00e9 Laval<\/em> is one of Canada\u2019s best employers. Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke<\/em> placed third and Concordia University, fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try just keeping your eyes closed and slowly move them side to side; focus on long, extended inhales and exhales; and allow the body to relax.
