It is party time again and we all want to have fun. If you have a bit too much to drink call one of 56,000 Red Nose volunteers to drive you home.<\/p>\n

The mission that started with one concerned math teacher in 1984, Jean-Marie De Koninck, to encourage responsible behaviour with regard to impaired driving has never wavered.<\/p>\n

The free service enables communities to provide confidential chauffeur service to their members. All financial benefits are redistributed to local organizations dedicated to youth. Donations are recommended. The average donation is $20. <\/p>\n

Customers from Quebec City, Montr\u00e9al, Sherbrooke, Laval, Longueuil, Outaouais, Trois Rivi\u00e8res, Drummondville, Saguenay and Rimouski can use the phone or the new mobile app to learn wait times.<\/p>\n

Today, more than 100 organizations across Canada benefit from the proceeds of the Operation Red Nose campaign. Each year, between $1,200,000 and $1,300,000 are redistributed to non-profit youth organizations and\/or amateur sports organizations. Red nose is sponsored by the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019assurance automobile du Qu\u00e9bec<\/i> and Caisse Desjardins<\/i>.<\/p>\n
