Only months after the CRTC gave the green light for a new transmitter site, listeners from the West Island to Hudson can enjoy the easy listening sounds of Evanov Communication\u2019s Jewel 106.7 on the FM dial. <\/p>\n

Evanov owns six stations in Ontario and one in Winnipeg under the Jewel brand. The new radio station broadcasts English-language soft adult contemporary\/easy listening music from artists such as Micheal Bubl\u00e9, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand. <\/p>\n

The Hudson station at 1,420 watts covers the western off-island area, plus adjacent areas like Oka, the West Island and \u00cele Perrot. The new station is the second Quebec station for Evanov Communications Inc. <\/p>\n

Evanov\u2019s Radio Fiert\u00e9 on AM 980 is the world\u2019s only French language commercial radio service dedicated to Montreal\u2019s LGBT community. Fiert\u00e9 with its vast signal will encompass the greater Montreal area and beyond. Programming includes a mix of today\u2019s hits along with Disco and Techno sounds. <\/p>\n

The two new Quebec stations bring Evanov Communications to a total of 15 stations across Canada bringing them closer to a mid-size independent broadcaster.
