Laval residents flocked to
\nPavillion du Bois Papineau,<\/i> Oct.
\n21, for the city’s second annual
\npet adoption day.<\/p>\n

Dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea
\npigs looking for an adoptive
\nhome found new owners during
\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n the popular event.<\/p>\n

\nAll canine and feline pets were sterilized and vaccinated before
\nthe event, the cost of which was
\noffset by the $100-400 fee for the
\nanimals.<\/p>\n

In addition to animal shelters,
\na number of service providers
\nwere on hand to sport their
\nwares and services, such as animal first aid, kennels, dog training, dog clubs and pet crematoria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n Citizens were also treated to a
\nnumber of workshops. Topics
\nincluded: how to find a runaway
\npet, how to prevent animal bites; technology trends for dogs &
\ncats; and microchips & dog
\ncare.<\/p>\n
