\nWhen it comes to the Coalition pour l\u2019avenir du Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s<\/i>

\nthat she forsees that \u201cthere is still some fine tuning that could take place.\u201d<\/div>\n

\n\u201cI\u2019m definitely pleased with our leadership\u2019s position on
\nmunicipalities and on military families,\u201d enthused Hawa, who ran unsuccessfully
\non the West Island for the CAQ during last year\u2019s provincial election.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cAs a businessman who has worked on the international level
\n[CAQ leader Fran\u00e7ois Legault] recognizes that certain jobs require the
\nincumbent to be bilingual, but does that mean that the person who works on the
\nwarehouse floor needs to be bilingual?\u201d she asked.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nDuring the past two weeks, many elected Quebec Liberal Party
\nrepresentatives have spoken out unequivocally against Bill 14. Hawa said that
\nCAQ\u2019s ultimate stance remains to be seen, and that she is looking forward to
\ndiscussing it with fellow delegates during CAQ\u2019s upcoming province-wide confab
\nnext week in Boucherville, March 23-24.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cOur position is still evolving,\u201d she underscored. \u201cThere
\nwill be a lot of sharing of ideas and opinions with my colleagues. We will
\nexamining where we are going, in what direction, and determine whether this is
\nour final position, or if it can be massaged a bit.\u201d<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nHawa echoed the analysis that has been expressed by many
\nLiberal legislators during the past two weeks, that the Parti qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois is
\ntrying to divide Quebecers in order to achieve its political objectives.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cWe had a modus
\nvivendi <\/i>before this,\u201d she explained. \u201cNobody was happy with the situation,
\nbut nobody was angry. This is unnecessarily bringing forward a chicane.<\/i> For what purpose, really?\u201d<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cLook at our tax rates, look at our debt level: Wouldn\u2019t it
\nbe better instead to be discussing something that affects our day-to-day,
\nin-our-pocket livelihood?\u201d Hawa concluded.<\/div>\n
