Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de transport de Laval<\/i> (STL) bus driver Marc M\u00e9nard, 44, remains missing more than a month after he disappeared while traveling southbound through the Mexican border town of Nuevo Laredo in his white 1993 Pontiac minivan.<\/p>\n

He was reported missing around March 14, after he last communicated with friends.<\/p>\n

Last week it was reported that Mark Morneau, a close friend of M\u00e9nard, had discovered that M\u00e9nard had had an aggressive argument with several women before he vanished. One of the women was M\u00e9nard’s former girlfriend, who herself and her husband were potential suspects to the investigation.<\/p>\n

Evidently M\u00e9nard’s ex-girlfriend reported misleading information about where M\u00e9nard went missing, after Laredo officials proved unaware of M\u00e9nard’s disappearance.<\/p>\n

Hoping to find his son, his father, Robert M\u00e9nard, launched a website that traced his son’s journey and a Facebook page was created to share any new evidence that was found.<\/p>\n

On the Facebook page, a Mexican man claimed he was certain that he saw M\u00e9nard’s vehicle recently. The man also provided a description of who was driving his vehicle and what it looked like, together with descriptions that have not been released publicly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe STL sent out a notice to all tran- sit authorities and to local television stations in Mexico to advise them we have a missing colleague,\u201d STL spokeswoman Marie-C\u00e9line Bourgault told The Suburban.<\/i> \u201cWe need to put pressure on the federal government to find him; this is all that the STL can do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bourgault explained that STL employees have been raising funds in an effort to find their missing colleague.<\/p><\/div>\n
