The Canadian Urban Transit Association has recognized Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de transport de Laval <\/i>(STL) for its accomplishments in making transport accessible to commuters.<\/p>\n

STL was also singled out for three other awards by the Association Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise Du Transport.<\/i> The awards were for the marketing and communications of their project \u201cLets Develop Together!\u201d, which last year that helped to help identify residents’ main  transportation interests. <\/p>\n

STL was also recognized for its efforts to improve transportation in Laval by creating a carpooling system called CLIC. The program’s goal is to form four-member teams of people who live in the same district in Laval and travel at the same time between homes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re so pleased by this recognition,\u201d STL spokeswoman Marie-C\u00e9line Bourgault said. \u201cWe’re proud that the STL is being acknowledged for its efforts to help improve the quality of transportation in Laval.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bourgault explained that the STL is very interested in its clients and is always trying to improve its response to their needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is very important for us that the clients are satisfied,\u201d Bourgault said. \u201cEarning these awards tells us that we’re doing something right.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe Association Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise Du Transport bestowed its Coup de c\u0153ur du jury d’honneur<\/i> for STL’s new CLIC car polling service, which helped to make life easier for Laval commuters. <\/b><\/div>\n
