The Apollo 15 space capsule will land at Cosmod\u00f4me in Laval and will stay for the course of 12 months for its third release in history outside the U.S. for a space vehicle.<\/p>\n

Apollo 15, the ninth manned mission in the U.S. Apollo space program and the fourth to land on the moon will arriving the week of October 7, where the public will discover an exhibition which will recount the journey of the 1971 mission.<\/p>\n

The spacecraft is currently in the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. As soon as the museum begins its renovations, the capsule will head to Laval. Due to its massive size, a special transportation route has been planned.<\/p>\n

The Cosmod\u00f4me will not be charged for moving the Apollo 15. Rather, the expenses will be covered entirely by U.S. authorities.<\/p>\n

The Cosmod\u00f4me plans to hold a special ceremony to celebrate the arrival of the space capsule, with Canadian and American astronauts expected to attend. <\/p>\n
