\nJacques Gagn\u00e9 has been helping people research their Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois and French roots for years. Many of the members of the Quebec Family History Society<\/a> count on him to help decipher French genealogy terms and context.<\/p>\n

This post is an introduction to Jacques, who will be posting a series of helpful hints for researching ancestors with roots in France, beginning tomorrow.<\/p>\n

If you have ancestors who came to Canada, the United States or elsewhere from France, you\u2019ll appreciate Jacques\u2019 explanations and the many links to resources that he\u2019ll be covering over the next couple of months.<\/p>\n
