In an effort to ensure that Pierrefonds-Roxboro voters are as \u201cinformed as possible about the different issues at stake,\u201d Pierrefonds-Roxboro mayoral hopeful Christian Dubois, a member of Marcel Cot\u00e9\u2019s Coalition Montreal party, is calling on his opponents to take part
\nin a town hall-style debate prior to the Nov. 3 election.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cThe upcoming election is extremely important,\u201d said Dubois. \u201cOne way to ensure that voters have all the information concerning the different challenges we will be facing in the next four years is to discuss them in public. I therefore invite all the mayoralty candidates for the borough of Pierrefond-Roxboro to rapidly confirm their participation in the town hall meeting.\u201d <\/p>\n

Dubois proposes an impartial moderator, West Island Chamber of Commerce president \u00c9ric Leouson, who would field the questions of varying local issues to the candidates with citizens having the opportunity to ask the candidates their own queries. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an excellent opportunity to not only present our different priorities but to also hear what residents are concerned about for the coming years,\u201d Dubois noted.<\/p><\/div>\n
