Laval Technopole announced last week that Laval based company Bone Structure will build a new building to house a resto-caf\u00e9 in Lac M\u00e9gantic, Quebec. <\/p>\n

Owner, Yannick Gagn\u00e9 intends to construct a new 3,000 sq.ft. resto-caf\u00e9 which will replace the property that was incinerated\u2014together with many of its patrons\u2014in the tragic oil train derailment there last year. <\/p>\n

He told local news outlets last week that he hoped the new site, which will feature a subterranean microbrewery, will be open by July 6, in time to feature prominent artists there for this summer\u2019s tourist season. <\/p>\n

The announcement went viral, with more than 100,000 visits to the resto-caf\u00e9\u2019s Facebook page, soon after the announcement. <\/p>\n

Bone Structure came up with its own design for light steel components that are used to construct buildings. <\/p>\n

Its steel components are manufactured with the same technology that is used to cut machined parts for aircraft and automobiles. <\/p>\n

It found a way permits construction of advanced, open structures without using a single nail, requiring no drilling and very few tools. <\/p>\n

\nBone Structure\u2019s steel structure also permits designers to use a very large number of windows in the building, maximizing natural light for the folks inside.<\/div>\n
