Two studies are suggesting that sleep can help you decide what direction you should go in life, love, and finance.
It’s allows your subconscious mind to work and aid the decision-making process.
If you want more from your dreams, including potential answers to an issue, it helps to optimize your chances of remembering them.
Develop the habit of logging your dreams.
As soon as you wake, write what you remember.
Doing this every day will make you remember more.
A second study reports on experiments with “dream engineering”, a subfield of dream research that involves manipulating people’s dreams to learn more about them.
Researchers from Northwestern University have tried to verify if dreams can help provide solutions to problems.
They suggest that being awake sees you dwell on the wrong solution; sleeping on it allows that to fade and sees your brain become more loosely activated.
