UPAC has not verified the authenticity of text messages published in the Journal de Montréal last November, suggesting that Quebec Liberal Party members who supported Pablo Rodriguez during the 2025 leadership race were rewarded financially.

49-year-old Sebastien Rollin of Montreal has been extradited to the United States on charges of importing opioids and money laundering. He is looking at 120 years in federal prison, if the maximum penalty is applied.
