Montreal police have charge a LaSalle man, 30-year-old Nicholas Amor, with public incitement of hatred online, promoting antisemitic rhetoric, violence against Jews and police.

Hundreds of Montreallers took advantage on the week-end to go aboard the Royal Canadian Navy ship HMCS Margaret Brook at the Old Port. Commander Teri Share says that the vessel has sailed around the world several times, since it was launched in 2022, in Newfoundland, helping to support small communities hit hard by a hurricane, and that it has conducted counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean and has helped conduct science experiments off of the Antarctic Peninsula.
