Insula is a production inspired by the development and evolution of Laval. It was created to celebrate Laval’s upcoming semi-centennial.

The story offers citizens an inside look at Laval’s first established communities but combines fact and fiction with creative aquatic panache.

The Water laser spectacle does not cost a thing and it is kid friendly.

The show lasts about a half an hour and includes water effects, a light display, water fountains a ‘water laser video ’and liquid wall projections.

The show was designed by Laser Quantum; a Laval firm that specializes in Laser shows and light/art installations.

City executive committee vice-chairman David de Cotis said that the free show is a tribute to its citizens; “It’s a way to give back to the people of Laval.”

The shows will run four times week until August 6th. Performances will take place at Place de 50e,Centropolis de Laval 1799 Pierre Péladeau
