Indo-Canadian Diwali “Lights up the Night” this Friday

This Friday, November 14, East meets West when the Indo-Canadian Organization of Montreal (ICOM) presents its second annual Light up the Night Gala.

The one of a kind event with Indian flair will take place at the Mont Blanc reception hall, 1950 Notre Dame de Fatima, Laval.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. guests will experience South Asian culture through gastronomy, entertainment, casino games and dance.

DJs Tantrik and DJ Mystik from Lymetime will be mixing bhangra, Bollywood, reggae and hip-hop.

Ticket holders will enjoy complimentary casino chips to enjoy multiple game stations such as black jack, roulette, and teen pathi, three-card poker.

Participants will experience live entertainment featuring Tashan Performing Arts, Montreal’s only competitive South Asian dance group comprised of McGill and Concordia students.
