A recent Star Wars-themed evening to benefit the Cosmodome Foundation was a great success.

On Oct. 24, Star Wars lovers enjoyed interactive virtual missions and witnessed a spectacular light-sabre battle, all while sipping on cocktails from an open bar. A buffet was served by renowned caterer Julien-Leblanc. Ticket price was $150 and a silent auction helped raise even more funds for the foundation. The live DJ rocked the house until well after midnight.

The Cosmodome foundation will be using all proceeds from the event to benefit young under privileged padawans (a Jedi pupil or student, or broadly used as anyone that is learning).

At the Cosmodome, visitors have the opportunity to experience one of three interactive and educational missions by virtually traveling in space. There is a permanent exhibition on space exploration for those not quite so adventurous. The foundation contributes to organizations or individuals that would not otherwise be able to experience what the Cosmodome has to offer.
