Abord à Plouffe resident Alex Trichas organized the seventh annual walk-a-thon in Abord à Plouffe on Sept. 7. Funds were raised for the Hope and Cope of the Jewish General Hospital.
Hundreds of people were out walking and celebrating including Mr. Orestis Fidas who according to city Councillor Vasilios Karidogiannis is a “primo coffee guru.”
Hope and Cope helps people cope with cancer. Guided by professional staff, cancer-experienced volunteers provide psychosocial support and practical resources that help patients regain a sense of control and well-being, reduce isolation and restore hope.
