Dorval Mainstreets invites residents for a summer stroll

Annual community event offers fun for all ages

The city of Dorval, in conjunction with Dorval Mainstreets, is bringing back the ever popular Summer Stroll through Dorval on Saturday, June 14 starting at 10 a.m.

The daylong event will take place rain or shine and finish up by 5 p.m. Some of the activities being provided at the free event are a display of classic cars courtesy of the Association des Voitures Anciennes de Quebec, Station 5 will be engraving bicycles, an art station where festive paper hats will be made personally for attendees as well as a treasure hunt offered by the city’s Historical Society.

Musical and dance acts will be performing throughout the day and, as part of Dorval’s en forme program; there will be a walkathon to benefit Leucan. The walk begins at 11:05 a.m.

There will face painting for the kids, a sidewalk sale for adults and an animal adoption clinic taking place and even a demo by soapbox racers.
