Driver loses control of car and crashes into home

A family living at France and Westpark Blvd. in Dollard des Ormeaux received an unwelcome surprise this past early Sunday morning when a car crashed into their house.
No one was hurt, including the 25-year-old female driver and her male passenger as well as the five members of the family. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and police noted that alcohol might have had a factor in the driver losing control of the vehicle before crashing into the home’s front door.
The driver could face further charges of driving while under the influence.
