Kirkland voters sent incorrect reminder cards

The voting/reminder cards sent to Kirkland residents Friday, Oct. 25, contain incorrect information.

According to the Town of Kirkland website, only a handful of cards had the wrong information but it was ‘impossible to determine’ which ones. As a result, new blue election cards with the corrected data will be distributed to households.

The error lies in the material regarding electoral districts. This means that the address, map, time and voter location printed on these yellow cards are wrong. Luckily the mistake was caught in time. All residents are invited to verify their district information via the Town of Kirkland website which features the proper information. Voters who have not received the blue card can call Town Hall with their inquiries.

Municipal elections will be held Sunday, Nov. 3.
