Police find runaway girl; searching for another

Laval police have advised The Suburban
that they have found Jamie Robinson, the 15-year-old runaway girl who disappeared, Sept.
2, just as another teen has gone missing.

Our Sept. 19 report in the North & East edition of the newspaper enlisted the public’s
assistance in locating her.

“Thank you for your help,” Laval police Lt.
Daniel Guérin wrote in an electronic mail
message to The Suburban, Sept. 26. “Ms.
Robinson has been found and is in good
health.”


Then, on Oct. 1, Laval police Const. Franco
di Genova again approached The Suburban to
ask readers to be on the lookout for Laval
youth Maude Ménard-Bélanger, went missing
Aug. 26.

He said that the
French-speaking 16-year-old white girl with
blond hair and blue eyes is 1.6 metres tall and
weighs 50 kg.

Readers of The Suburban who have any
information that could help to locate Ms.
Ménard-Bélanger are again asked to call the
Laval police confidential tip line at [450] 662-INFO (4636) or dial 911 and mention LVL
120826 062.

Sixteen-year-old Maude Ménard-Bélanger went August 26.
